Our Loveable, LOUD Life: Destin, FL

We had so much fun in Destin, FL. We cannot wait to go back! We went to the beach everyday, and soaked up lots of sun. Brinley loved jumping in the waves. Ella Grace, not so much. They scared her to death! The waves were rough due to storms from earlier in the day. Cara on the other hand, would run to the ocean with no care in the world, and me knowing that she was so little and petite, that the waves would crash into her and suck her down with them! So she was a rascal to contain in one area! We went on this trip with the whole family and it was so fun. The parents, sisters, brothers-in-laws, and nephews all caravaned down to the coolest beach on the block...at least for this year anyway.

One interesting thing that happened while on vacation: Ella Grace decided to sneak up stairs to Melanie and Byron's room and grab their scissors. Why they had a pair on the trip is still confusing to me...needless to say..Ella Grace got her first haircut, with her own 2 hands. I was wondering where my Ella Bella was, and as she came down to my room these words still run fresh in my mind. " Mommy, you like my haircut? Isn't it pretty?" Thank goodness her hair was in a bun and she didn't cut the length of it..only the sides got the wrath of the scissors and the poor bangs that still have a funky spiky look to them. This is one thing I will never forget...Laughing out loud, or at least trying to..
